Observation and patience are enough. As you learn the techniques, you'll be surprised by what your hands can do.
We mainly start with clay and plaster; as you progress, you can move on to other materials as well.
Your clay pieces are dried and fired in the kiln if you'd like; plaster pieces go home with you at the end of the class.
